Family Session: Pumpkin Patch Perfection

On the same gloriously beautiful October day as my previous photo shoot (click here), I had the privilege of meeting and taking pictures of the wonderful Kirkendall family.

We met at Lone Pine Farms for some pumpkin patch fun with their two absolutely scrumptious little girls.  (There was some serious cuteness going on here!)

To say the day was gorgeous does it no justice.  It was perfect.  Blue skies and sunshine and the start of that lovely afternoon light that makes for some lovely photos.

The colors were fabulous.  So much so that I decided to start this blog post out with a color palette.   I love making color palettes, which are very useful for decorating, sewing, or any number of things that benefit from coordinated hues.    I chose this palette template from Pugly Pixel, but I do have some of my own that I will add to the freebies page soon.

I hope you enjoy the photos!

Family Session: Three Little Cousins

I love autumn!  The colors, the smells, and best of all, the anticipation of wonderful things to come.

October found me back in Harrisburg photographing an adorable family I had the privilege of  taking photos of  in August (check out their absolutely charming little family here), with the addition of an auntie and cousin.

It was a gorgeous fall morning, and the colors absolutely popped in this shoot.  I loved watching the kids interact together, especially when they were playing in the big piles of leaves!  What a great day!!
